Volunteer of the year!!

Happy Thursday everyone! Hope you're having a great December, and even a greater Christmas and New Year's Eve in the days to come. I apologize I've been a lazy girl during the last month, but here is one reason I've been taking a break from posting- volunteer activities.
This year was the first Romanian edition of the Volunteers' Gala, on December 12th, organized by VOLUM, a federation comprising the organisations which promote volunteering. I was nomineed by Save the Children to the Youth category, and I won! :D Although it crossed my mind for some moments the fact that I could win, it seems incredible to me even now. I would like to thank everybody from Save the Children, so inspiring people, awesome friends and a great team who's always so involved in every project and action! Special congrats to Ioana and Ina, who also won that night to their category!
I've been volunteering for already three years, and it's been the most amazing thing I could experiment as a teenager. Working with and for kids allowed me to grow so much as a person, and be able to do things I never dared to do before.

I encourage all of you to volunteer, make a change in your society, and bring people a smile on their face. Cheers to all the volunteers!!!

Freezy Teasy

My best friend knows me so well. She made me aware of the fact that I'm stubborn in an awkard, but cute way- when I disagree with an idea, although someone explains it to me with solid arguments, my mind simply refuses to understand. For instance, winter stopped by lately. And it requires, as every year, appropriate clothes. But I like summer and spring clothes more, so I find it very difficult to wear winter clothes in my blog outfits. Otherwise, I do dress appropriately, don't believe that my mind lets me freeze all the time:))

Anyway, my mom is cool, that she doesn't care when people stare at me while taking pictures 'naked', as she says, during this time of the year. She helped me with this photoshoot, and I'm so grateful to her. She even understands my passion of walking on the streets at 0 degrees or less, which makes her even more awesome.
The green hat was knitted by me- as you can see, I used it to keep the spirit of winter  :)) The white top has a waist craft that I love, unfortunately you cannot see it it these pictures. What I added, or better said, what I took away, was the current 'shoulderless' part; I simply felt the need of a Hash touch. The skirt has a front zipper, and I hadthe idea of a curly hem which took me so many hours to sew, but I love the result, so it was worth it. As to the purse, you already know it from the Fountain of Proof post.

Man, I feel like a Woman!

When in Italy, do what the Italians do. Take it slow:))) This is the reason why I had only one photo shoot, but I'm happy about it, so maybe less is more. I've been waiting to wear these pants for so long, and I finally had the chance to do it in Sicily, since in Romania it's so cold.
The clothes belong(ed) to my mother, and the accessories are mine. I love the high-waisted pants, since they embrace my curves and make me "feel like a woman", as Shania Twain would say. Plus, the green earrings are so delicious, and the orange bracelets are among my favourite accessories.

P.S. There are anonymous readers who send mean messages to bloggers, and I'm sure you girls know what I mean. Well, I have a message for them too, except I do it openly.
First, it is good that you have opinions. It means that you think.
Second, it is good that you have opinions on my legs, it means that you saw them by reading my blog, which I thank you for.
Third, if I show my legs off on my personal blog, it means I love them. Which I do. I was told they were thick; well, you can imagine I have healthy eyes and can see that myself. Still, I love them.
Fourth, I have curves and I'm confident about my body. That's a plus for me, regardless of how the others see my figure.
Finally, I encourage all readers to send me messages, nice or mean. You can see I can reply to you.

Pinky promise

"But you promised me!! You promised you'd last for good!""But Autumn is lovely! Look at these leaves. Aren't they simply adorable? I think it's time for a photo shoot;) See you in June!" said Summer.

Chilly days, windy days, school days. But this autumn is all about being colourful and optimistic in spite of weather. Plus, I'm leaving on a trip in Sicily in a few weeks, so I have one more reason to be happy:D

A street(car) named Fire

She feels right. She loves the challenge. You say it's bad? She loves it even more. Is it difficult? She'll make it easy. She says she's slightly more mature, I think she way more. This summer was full of events, she analyzed thoroughly and established some priorities.
She's important. She feels that way.
